Adam Tafilowski
Owner of Auto Cosmetics of Altamont LLC, Adam has over 20 years in the automotive collision industry. He attended Hudson Valley Community College located Troy, NY where he received an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies (Auto Body Repair) and Graduated in the Spring of 2002. He is also a Licensed and Bonded New York State adjuster, holding a Platinum Certification with Icar (see more at www.i-cartraintogain.com).
Adam has worked at a Lincoln Dealership for his hands on experience fixing vehicles. In 2007, he was hired by a major insurance carrier where he was a Staff Appraiser for 10 years and after that a Claims Manager for 4 years. Adam has handled every imaginable insurance claim from the smallest of fender benders to the most complex claims. His objective “As a body shop owner and claims professional with more than 20 years of experience, I’m here to provide you and/or your business with a high quality repair that streamlines the repair process and leaves you with a homework free experience. We are well versed and will deal directly with any insurance carrier.”
Rob Varsanyi
Rob started Auto Cosmetics in 1981 and build it up to one of the most reputable and reliable Auto Body Shops in the Capital District. Rob is part time retired and currently working on his own personal vehicle collection while still working part time at Auto Cosmetics with the daily operations of the repair shop.
CJ Smith
Technician at Auto Cosmetics since 2006, CJ has attended Hudson Valley Community College located Troy, NY and Holds and Associates degree in Occupational studies (Auto Body Repair) and Graduated in spring of 2005. CJ also is a licensed New York state adjuster. He is Auto Cosmetics technology guru. CJ is also a start to finish technician which means he handles all aspects of the repairs from body work to the refinishing process.
Todd Rosa
Technician at Auto Cosmetics since 2009 – With more than 30 years in the industry he has the knowledge to handle the most complex repairs. He has a life time of knowledge and is Auto Cosmetics Shop Foreman. During Todd’s free time you can find him working on his latest project a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. Todd is also a start to finish technician which means he handles all aspects of the repairs from body work to the refinishing process.
Brian Blizzard
Technician at Auto Cosmetics since 1995. If a major repair is needed, Blizzard has you covered. With more than 25 years in the industry there isn’t a vehicle he can’t fix. During Brian’s free time he enjoys working on his BMW M3 Race car. Brian is also our go to for all BMW’s, VW’s, Audi’s and Porsche’s. Brian is also a start to finish technician which means he handles all aspects of the repairs from body work to the refinishing process.
